ArcGIS is at GC&SU!!

    Georgia College & State University is now participating in the University System of Georgia ESRI site license for ArcGIS 9.0, provided by the Information Technology Outreach Services at the University of Georgia.  ArcGIS and ArcView are installed in Rm. 122 and 124 at Information Technology Center (Library lower floor), and in the instructional lab in A&S 255.  The campus contact is Dr. Doug Oetter.  If you would like ArcGIS installed on your GC&SU computer, contact SERVE

    Launch ArcGIS through Start/Programs/ArcGIS/ArcMap.  Here is the ESRI ArcGIS Desktop Help.

    I will be conducting training sessions for faculty from time to time.  Please email me if you have specific questions regarding the implementation or usage of ArcGIS.  The following link will help you with common tasks.

ArcView 3.2

    ArcView 3.2 is older software, but still very capable and easy to use.  It is also installed in the Information Technology Center rooms 122 and 124.  Click this link for ArcView tips and tricks.
