We will view the A&E biography of Michelangelo in class. You should be able to answer the following questions in our class discussion following the film:

7. Who commissioned Michelangelo to paint the Sistine Chapel?

8. What was Michelangelo's relationship like with his patron for the Sistine Chapel project and did that affect the content or design of the Sistine Chapel painting?
