IDST 2310 Course Survey Fall 2000

Student 13

1. a very fun course, especially the interactive parts. It is not a class that you are bored in-it requires your attention.

2. An interdisciplinary course helps you broaden your horizon. You don't learn the basic English or Science or math. You learn about things that aren't normal-different cultures.

3. This course was much more interesting than the traditional courses. You still learn a lot like the other courses, but it is fun!

4. I have taken one other IDST course, so this class was similar to it because it isn't as strict as the regular courses.

5. I liked the interactive projects- Yoruba, Zen Garden & the self-portrait.

6. I disliked the poetry the most. The three books didn't help at all!

7. The history portion-like Napoleon and Chinese history

8. I learned more about myself through the self-portrait. I am more observant of myself now.

9. The unit dealing with Napoleon was the hardest because I am not familiar with it.

10. The music in each section was the easiest because I play music.

11. The webct is resourceful. I like having the information online where I can print out the notes.

12. The use of multimedia was most helpful. It helps to see information as well as hear it.

13. I can't think of any that really stand out.

14. Yes, definitely!!! Especially the self portrait

15. No. the unit on color, line & shape was very interesting. We see those things everyday and don't think about it.

16. The self-portraits were the best, you were right-They should be done first!
