IDST 2310 Course Survey Fall 2000

Student 5

1. I would say that it is very different. It's a class where you have to apply what you have learned in class.

2. It is a class where you have to reach inside yourself & examine your soul to learn about the different objectives.

3. This course is very wonderful because you have to learn about yourself to pass the class. In all of my other classes, you have to learn what they tell you to learn.

4. Yes, I have finally taken what I have learned in class into the real world.

5. The self-portrait project.

6. The musical interpretations.

7. Not really.

8. Yes. 9. The musical interpretations-consonance & dissonance. I just couldn't grasp the concept. I would get both of them mixed up.

10. The Tao of Pooh- I love Pooh & I understood by Pooh's simplicity on how the Taoist felt.

11. It's wonderful-I could take my time and find a lot of info on what we talked about in class.

12. In my opinion, they all balance out. In all of these teaching techniques I was able to learn well.

13. (no answer)

14. Yes

15. Yes, I guess I was trying too hard to listen to the concepts on the unit on music. I couldn't grasp the concept of dissonance & consonance for anything.

16. Overall, I really enjoyed the class. Learning about the different arts in civilizations was wonderful.
