IDST 2310 Course Survey Fall 2000

1. It is a fun course that looks into everyday things. You find out a lot about yourself by doing this class.

2. An overview of time with a focus on the self and everyday things.

3. It covers a broad range. It is not a specialized class like English and Biology. Things can be viewed in a different ways.

4. Yes, we were able to look into who we actually are.

5. The Yoruba bead rings.

6. The Hindu & Japanese culture. That is an area I am not as interested in.

7. There can be a hidden meaning in almost anything.

8. The self-portrait project allowed me to see the aspects of inside of me.

9. I thought getting the postings done right was an challenge because I had to take what was learned in class and apply it to the postings.

10. The event critiques were the least challenging because I am already involved with the school.

11. I enjoyed it when it worked smoothly, but when the internet was down it was a pain.

12. I enjoyed the Yorubu ring project. I used that technique through the rest of the year.

13. The Greek aesthetics used history. I enjoyed that part.

14. Yes, they did. I learned that I do not know everything about myself, which I thought I did

15. Yes, because there were so many more aspects of color and line to look at

16. It was a fun class.
