The Aesthetics of Color:

Yoruba Color Aesthetics

text by Dr. Roxanne Farrar

This is an ensemble that would be worn by a priest. The hat displays interlacing design. Often the interlacing design is placed on very important parts. The head has a lot of interlacing. Interlacing design is also seen on the garment that the priest would wear. Not all the garment is beaded; some of it is textile weaving.
