HTML Editors

HTML editors are available for most platforms. These editors act as an interface between you and the raw HTML code. A common HTML editor at GC&SU is Microsoft FrontPage. You may call SERVE (445-SERVE (7378)) to obtain a copy if you don't already have one. HTML editors are not mandatory but can be easier to use than a text editor if you are willing to accept certain limitations.

NOTE: The GC&SU Webserver does not currently support the Microsoft FrontPage extensions. These are the "WebBots" referred to in the FrontPage documentation.

CNET provides an index of software- commercial demos, freeware and shareware which can be downloaded from their site.
