GCSU Faculty Web Server User's Guide

Intended Uses

The Faculty Web Server is intended to provide faculty with the means to make information relative to their teaching, service, research and scholarship available to students, colleagues and interested others. Common examples of such use of the GCSU Faculty Web Server might include, but are not limited to:

  • Posting a Curriculum Vitae, Resume or other documents summarizing one's educational background and experience.
  • Making information about courses you teach available to prospective and current students.
  • Sharing tentative or final results of research and scholarship inviting peer review.
  • Managing public service and outreach projects with which the faculty person might be involved.
  • Posting instructional materials to be shared with colleagues in one's field.
  • Supplementing password protected course materials with open access materials.
  • Publishing a professional web page.
