This is the largest boat ramp and river access point in Macon. It hosts a durable and easily accessible boat ramp, and several paved parking spots. This is the best spot to get on the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail.
Turn into the park on the south side of Spring Street (US 29) on the east bank of the river. The entrance is clearly marked, but it may be hard to see because of the traffic lights where Interstate 16 ramps intersect Spring St.
