Ocmulgee River Landings

Otis Redding Park

Description

This urban park is dedicated to the immortal Otis Redding, a Macon native who died prematurely at the peak of his musical career in the late 1960's.  It doesn't provide good access for boats or canoes, but it is possible to get down to the river if you just want to get your feet wet.

Directions

The best option for parking is along Riverside Dr. next to the Macon Telegraph.
