There does not appear to be any public access to the river at this point. There are at least two places where the river could be easily accessed from the road, but both are posted 'No Trespassing.' Ownership of the area has not yet been discovered.
Nevertheless, it's a beautiful stretch of river. There are several shoals with forest on both sides.
From Highway 16 landing, go east just over a mile and turn south on Concord Church Rd. Follow this road past the church and on another mile or so. Follow the road to the right at the next intersection and go on about three miles to the river.
