Dark Age Archaeology from Early British Kingdoms a wonderful site with extensive listings of legendary Arthurian legendary excavations.

carleon.net travel through Carleon's history. has wonderful resources on the Roman legions, excavations of Roman Carleon, Arthuriana, and other topics.

In Search of Britain's Lost King an excellent site produced by two undergraduate students with hosts of photographs and generally very reliable text.

The Defenses of Chester this site is part of a larger site, the Chester Project. The Chester Project does not seem to the fully operational yet, but I am linking to it in hopes that more will be added. There is also a discussion of the Roman elliptical building at Chester.
