The following charts provide data on student performance on the pre- and post-tests of the Measure of Epistemological Reflection in the fall 1999. Significant growth is seen especially on domains 1 and 6. For students who took both the pre- and post-tests and whose scores increased (some remained the same), the increases in domains 1, 5, and 6 represent a movement from one position to the next, which is highly significant.
