The Roehampton Program

Sponsored by the University System of Georgia

From August 6 to September 9, 1996, several students and faculty members from the University System of Georgia will be taking students to the Roehampton Institute, which is approximately one-half hour outside of London. Students will be taking up to 12 hours of college-level courses, including my World Civilization to 1300 (HIST 110) and World Civilization 1300-1815 (HIST 111) courses. Each class will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays for 2 1/2 hours, and then travel on Tuesdays (classes onthe A sequence) and Thursdays (classes on the B sequence). These courses offer students the opportunity to study great events, literature, and art in their historical setting. Try exploring some biographies and digitalized paintings of Engish kings and queens or The Tower of London.
