Education

Our educational system is mandatory from ages five to sixteen. After that, students can drop out at will.
All education is public and free. It is paid for through local taxes. When you reach college age, all you must pay for is dormitories. We stress the importance of living in dorms as a way to break out of your comfort zone and a stepping stone to moving out of your parents' home.
What we teach cuts out a lot of the fat from what is normally taught. If you don't want to enter a science field for occupation then you don't need to take a science. In lower levels of schooling, we don't stress calculus and biology so much as we stress learning about different cultures. We teach this through extensive history and literature classes. We also stress being bilingual or multilingual.
"Be who you are and say what you will. because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."
-Dr. Seuss
